| Bio: | I am an enormous fan of both the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, and in 2007 I attended a Harry Potter conference in Toronto at which I presented a paper which was, I am proud to say, very well received. I've never been to a Lord of the Rings convention, but I'm sure they're out there and one day I'd love to go to one. I am a Harry/Ginny shipper in particular, and a canon shipper in general. As a fanfiction writer I have written and posted a few one shots, a plethora of drabbles, and am currently hard at work on an enormous novel-length fic that is being posted on fanfiction.net. I love all seasons, although waking up early on a cold winter morning and drinking hot chocolate by the french doors as the snow falls and the sun rises has got to be one of the most beautiful things there is. Cold water over the feet when standing on hot asphalt is also quite lovely. Currently I am a full time college student, and it is easily the most enjoyable and rewarding period of my life to date. I'm a Creative Writing major who loves to dabble in most anything else (art, Hebrew, business, astronomy, acting, geology, and modern dance are some of the things I have taken or will be taking during my four years), and I enjoy ballroom dancing, painting, beading, artsy things, and music. I listen to world, classical, pop, rock, jazz, folk, and all else music, except rap. After 9 years of classical voice training, I strangely find myself generally uninterested in listening to classical singers, and so I lean instead toward country and contemporary, although many of the latest pop artists I consider to have been chosen for appearance and sex appeal rather than talent. Homemade milkshakes are tasty. Poodles are intelligent and beautiful dogs, and highly under appreciated. Someday I would like to be a professional fiction writer, involved in community theater and the like, but that means I'll probably have to have a primary job to support myself, as writing professionally is almost as difficult to succeed at as acting professionally. Or more, even. | ||
